Winter 2026 Meeting, February 21, 2026
Thank you to all you attended the winter meeting! The opportunity to connect, brainstorm, and network during the AACTE conference was inspiring.
Connected to Lead: Innovation & Impact
Dovetailing with the AACTE Conference theme, the TECSCU winter meeting focused on "takeaway talks" focused on how leaders function as change agents and galvanize teams around initiatives and projects.
Board members facilitated two "takeaway talks" focused on these current, pressing issues:
- Leading Large Scale Curricular Change within educator preparation programs: how to communicate with disparate groups (content faculty, governing boards, accreditations, legislative groups, K-12 stakeholders, EPP) to reimagine programs to fit current requirements and hour totals
- Leading in Turbulent Times: how to handle difficult conversations with people within and outside your organization, leading with empathy and grace, facilitating civil discourse
